As part of the Section 278 work for this development, dubbed the “Walkie Talkie” building due to its concave form, we worked with Adamson Associates Architects to develop the preliminary and detailed design, ensuring it met the requirements of the City of London Corporation.

In addition to this we developed the 3D level design for the highway proposals as well as traffic management plans and undertook various liaisons regarding drainage, hostile vehicle mitigation and implementation. Furthermore we carried out site supervision of the works, to ensure they proceeded smoothly and to the required programme.

The project involves the development of a detailed design, including comprehensive 3D modeling, and the joint production of construction package drawings and traffic management plans. Material specifications are carefully selected to meet project requirements, and extensive construction project management is provided throughout. This includes close collaboration with key stakeholders, including utility diversions, hostile vehicle mitigation and security consultants, as well as manufacturers, TfL network management, and TfL traffic signals. The team also handles construction supervision and oversees the resolution of the final account to ensure successful project completion.
