The London Development Project
Gross Max landscape architects designed the roof garden space for a £1 billion banking headquarters in Farringdon. They collaborated with the City of London to develop the preliminary design for the public realm and urban spaces surrounding this new state-of-the-art addition to the London skyline. To bring this concept to construction, we worked closely with all involved parties to create a highly bespoke, high-end public realm and highways improvement scheme aligned with the broader Shoe Lane quarter masterplan.
Our responsibilities included extensive client liaison and the detailed design of custom features, material specification and 3D modeling, as well as the formation of detailed design and construction packages. We also handled structural foundation design for bespoke elements and managed construction project activities to ensure successful implementation.
