The inception and options development design were initiated by Project Centre, after which we took on the preliminary design for approval, progressing to detailed design and construction. Working closely with Camden, TfL, and Historic England, we successfully transformed the junction into a safer space while enhancing the adjacent Church gardens, a significant historic landmark.

Our work included developing the preliminary design and cost estimations for approvals, collaborating with specialist conservators from RHC and Historic England, conducting London Underground track surveys, securing deep-level piling approvals, and forming the detailed design and construction package. In addition, we managed project construction, supervised on-site activities, and ultimately earned recognition with a Road Safety Scheme Highways Excellence Award in 2015 and the Best New Public Space at the London Planning Awards in 2016.
